He has more than thirty-five years experience managing investment portfolios and working with small businesses. He has been listed as a top-ranked Charlotte-area financial advisor by the Charlotte Business Journal and in Barron's as one of the top 100 independent financial advisers in the country. He has successfully managed hundreds of millions of dollars in client assets since 1984. David K. Robb serves as its President and Chief Operating Officer. His career began in financial services, first as an economist and asset allocation specialist for First Chicago Investment Advisors, a large pension fund management firm, before becoming an interest rate futures broker and trader for The Chicago Corporation. From Chicago, he returned to his hometown of Charlotte to begin a series of entrepreneurial ventures, first building a nationally recognized specialty printing company followed by a series of internet technology companies in New York, Charlotte and Seattle. He served as a director of the Application Developers Alliance and sits on numerous corporate boards in the Gaston Capital Portfolio. David has extensive experience in real estate development, manufacturing and medical technology.

His industry transaction experience covers areas including financial services, business services, light industrial and manufacturing, information technology and healthcare.
